'Getting Started' Tutorials

Bloxx provides a series of 'Getting Started' tutorials to help make your deployment and transition to Bloxx web filtering smooth and easy. These can be used in conjunction with the Bloxx Quickstart and User Guides to aid you through this process.

Recommended Requirements: Each tutorial link will open in a new browser window. The tutorials are swf (flash) format and will run within a web page. Users will require Flash Player Version 7 or above. Download the latest version of Flash.

1. Connecting Your Bloxx Web Filtering Appliance

This tutorial covers which installation mode is best suited to your network - Proxy or Pass-thru. It also demonstrates how to get started with your Bloxx web filter by connecting it to the network, performing an initial configuration and, ultimately, logging in to the appliance's web interface.

Aimed at appliances installed in Proxy mode, this tutorial demonstrates how to get started, and in particular, how to set up NT authentication.
