The Bloxx Media Filter allows users to only view pre-approved and age-rated YouTube media content, helping to deliver a safer online environment, reducing risk and helping organisations meet e-safety guidelines. In addition, Media Filter eliminates user submitted comments and related media clips, so that users only view the approved media clip.

Comprehensive & flexible media approval process

To ensure that only approved media clips are available in the Media Filter library, Bloxx Media Filter uses a simple but comprehensive and flexible media approval process that has a complete audit trail.

Media Filter users are configured with different roles – viewers, submitters, approvers and system administrators – and they can only perform tasks relevant to their role.

Submitters, typically teaching staff, are able to submit content for approval and flag content for removal from the Media Filter Library.

Approvers are able to view submitted clips and approve or reject them – approved clips are added automatically to the Media Filter library. Approvers can also delete content that has been flagged for removal.

All content submitted into the Media Filter library must be approved before it can be viewed and Media Filter has the flexibility to allow an organisation to create approval processes that meets its specific needs.
