With edge protection, two spam engines and a Content Categorisation Engine, the Bloxx Email Filter delivers an exceptionally high spam catch rate with the lowest false positives and negatives in the industry. With frequent software enhancements and signature database updates, the Bloxx's anti-spam filter provides up to the minute protection against new and emerging spam attacks.

Eliminate spam before it reaches your network

To minimize the load on your messaging infrastructure Edge Connection Analysis eliminates the vast majority of spam – typically more than 95% – without the full message being received and provides protection again DOS attacks.

Edge Connection Analysis uses dynamic and user configurable black and white lists and Access Control Lists to accurately identify spam at the IP connection and message envelope stage.

The Bloxx Email Filter comes pre-configured for two external DNS blacklists and this capability can be extended by adding other DNS blacklists.

Advanced anti-spam filtering with content analysis

In combination with the other spam engines, the real-time content analysis and categorisation provided by the Categorisa-tion Engine delivers another layer of defence against spam that traditional spam engines may find difficult to detect and block.

To determine if the email is spam, the Bloxx Email Filter delivers real-time categorisation and filtering that scans the originating top level domain and the top level domain of links embedded in the body of the email.

Protect against outbound spam

The Bloxx Email Filter can be configured to check outbound emails for spam providing rapid detection of infected desktop clients.
