Deployment
The Bloxx Email Filter is simple and straightforward to deploy and typically requires minimal changes to your network and messaging configurations. After connecting the appliance to your network, the Bloxx Email Filter will typically only need a small number of configuration parameters to be set.
Unlike many other spam filters, the Bloxx Email Filter allows you to create email policies for workgroups or individual users and so requires you to connect to an LDAP server so that user information can be imported.
In addition, the filter requires access to web sites which are analyzed by Tru-View Technology and so if required you may need to configure the appliance to operate with an upstream proxy. Once these simple steps are completed, the Email Filter is ready to start filtering inbound and outbound emails.
